About the ROI Executive Communication Forum

The ROI Executive Communication Forum is a community of senior internal communication leaders from large1, organizations who share a passion for the art and science of communication. The ROI Forum provides an opportunity to share views, problems, successes and failures in a confidential environment marked by mutual trust and informed by our experience as thought leaders in the profession.

ROI Communication, an internal communication consulting organization, is a participating member and serves as the ROI Forum facilitator, responsible for managing logistics and operational activities.

Forum Vision and Priorities

Our intention is to keep ROI Forum operations as simple and informal as possible. In pursuing our goal of enhancing the profession’s performance and reputation, the founding members of the ROI Forum have agreed on the following priorities:

  • Present and discuss meeting content that represents the best thinking of the profession;
  • Identify and develop a professional metrics and measurement standard;
  • Foster an environment where ROI Forum members can confidentially and candidly share experiences;
  • Develop tangible ideas and outcomes to enhance internal communication within our own organizations;
  • Provide an opportunity to further develop our own thought leadership;
  • Develop and use online tools to communicate and share ideas with each other;
  • Maintain a non-bureaucratic governance model.

1'Large' is defined by a guideline of approximately 20,000 or more employees.
